This was my first visit as a new patient. I was so impressed! Everyone was very kind and professional, and my appointment was on time. Dr. Voshell explained everything patiently and thoroughly, and then proceeded to doing my cleaning himself when it became apparent that I wouldn't be able to get back to Iowa City anytime soon for that. The office was very clean and tastefully decorated; the atmosphere was peaceful & soothing. I believe I've finally found my Iowa dentist after a couple negative experiences with other dental offices. January 3, 2025 This dental visit was a much better visit than the last visit in June, 2024. The whole exam went well, knowing I have one tooth with an issue, and understanding what could happen down the road. After the novocaine shots there was no pain! He and his staff were all very good about seeing to my comfort. I have called about 17 dentists between cedar rapids and Iowa City and coralville so far this morning and he was about the 18th phone call and out of all of the ones that I called when I asked if they accept Medicaid even though he said no he's the only person who offered the places that he knew of that actually do none of the other dentists offices were willing to even offer that they just said sorry and I hung up so at least he was helpful even though he couldn't personally help me at his office I kind of almost wish that they did accept Medicaid that way I could take my daughter and myself there.

I have been a patient for two years but will be going elsewhere . Today my son’s appointment was at 8 am and it was snowing. I called to let office know we are coming on the way but due to bad weather will be running late. Arrived at 8:18 and immediately told that will not be seen. No exceptions made. It was a difficult drive with accidents and cars skidding also took me a lot of planning including excusing my son from high school first period and also arrangements to my own schedule ahead of time. The office does not care about patients genuinely. They simply view you as just another appointment. When I later called to let Dr Voshel know how disappointed I was he said thanks for feedback and something about this strict 15 minute policy. He didn’t offer to make it better in any way. He didn’t even seem to care whether I came back as a patient.

I had two fillings and a filling fixed- which is so wonderful I can smile again. the procedures went fine. I was surprised by throbbing pain in the way back near the gum line but my guess is it was near the nerve that runs blow those three back left side teeth. As all three were throbbing..took Tylenol and it was fine still sore but nothing I can't handle the top right one no issues.

We had a great experience at Willow Creek Dentistry. My 11 year old grandaughter was petrified when I suggested she needed to have a check up, teeth cleaning and fluoride treatment. The hygienist explained the whole procedure and acknowledged her fears, made her feel part in the decision making. When the Dentist came in he again explained in detail what he was about to do he made flossing and sugarbugs fun. Also they both educated her in teeth care. She had one cavity that she will have to get taken care of, but the process was again explained. It's refreshing to find a dentist and staff that take the time with a young lady to give her a lifetime of confidence with her smile. Thank you. Update: That cavity was taken care of with lots of explanation and very little discomfort. It was definitely a great experience for first (and hoping last) filling.

The services provided were great. I would speak very highly of the professionalism of all the individual I dealt with My only major complaint was that the parking lot was very unsafe. There was a major snowstorm a day prior to my appointment The parking area was only marginally scooped out. There was packed snow and slush covering the main entrance. Half the lot appeared not to have been cleared at all the parking for handicapped individuals were not even cleared at all. It was very unsafe for me to get to and from my car. If my husband were not there I would have needed to cancel my appointment. Please get this fixed for future snowstorms or I will need to find a different dental office . One where I can safely park to get into the office

I was a patient when Dr. Eastman was still around. After Dr. Voshell acquired the dental office, I decided to stay and give the office a try. Dr. Voshell is an excellent dentist and great at what he does, and Jenna is hands down the best dental hygienist I have ever had in my life. I tried to go to a different dentist for a bit (Red Hawk in Coralville) since my insurance changed and I paid a bit more going to Willow Creek Dentistry, but after my experience at Red Hawk I decided that the quality of care at Dr. Voshell's clinic cannot be matched elsewhere. I re-established my care with Dr. Voshell and Jenna, and I wouldn't go anywhere else. I give 5 stars and I recommend everyone give this office a try!! All staff are very personable and professional!

I started coming to this location when it was Eastman Dental, as they had good reviews and were close to our house. I decided to stay and give Dr. Voshell a try when he bought the business and I couldn't be happier. My first few experiences were just with cleanings, but when I had to get a cavity filled, it was an amazing experience. He has a pain-free technique for injections that I'd never experienced before, and I felt absolutely no pain! He clearly knows what he's doing and his team gets the highest recommendation from me.

Had to have some much needed dental work done & felt a bit of trepidation. But I didn’t need to… I felt very comfortable & was even given a blanket because I felt a bit chilly. Dr. Voshell checked with me more than once during the procedure to make sure I was comfortable. The whole experience was quite … relaxing?!! Never thought I’d say that about a dental visit, & I had to have 3 fillings replaced!! So thankful to have found Willow Creek Family Dentistry!

I’ve had many good visits with Dr. Voshell and the assistants at Willow Creek Iowa City. I’ve had cleanings and exams and have had several old, cracked fillings replaced. This week, I just had a fractured crown removed, the tooth prepped and the temporary crown placed. I’ve seen many dentists in my time. I have little tolerance for pain. Dr. Voshell has up to date equipment to make me as comfortable as possible while he’s working. I don’t feel any discomfort or pain as Dr. Voshell works on my teeth. When he says I might feel a pinch, there is no pinch. When he says this might feel uncomfortable as he fits something around my exposed, crown-less tooth, there’s no discomfort. Painless treatment is one great quality in a dentist! It’s also clear to me that Dr. Voshell is patient and takes care to achieve the best possible result as he works. This is another great quality in a dentist. I’m eager to have him put in two new bridges that I need because I know they’ll be done well. The third great quality in a dentist is his choice of excellent, friendly, skilled assistants. They always make my visits pleasant :) I happily recommend Dr. Voshell and all of the staff at Willow Creek Iowa City to take good care of your smile, too!

Very detailed and organized. Really informative as to what procedures need to be done and why. I was clearly shown in the xrays so i could better understand, My hygenist was super gentle. It was a scaling deep cleaning. And I did not need to have the shot for numbing. Update: i went in 6 days later to have the other side of my mouth deep cleaned. I listened to my audiobook on head phones and before i knew it I was finished…. Fantastic!!$
